More Trick than Treat

I was really looking forward to Halloween this year because I found Launa a really cute costume, she would be old enough to enjoy it, and we'd even been practicing saying "Trick or Treat". The pictures speak for themselves... I tried on the hat, a cousin wore the hat, and to no avail, she wasn't even jealous enough to put it on. We captured the struggle on camera. At the end of the night if she was trying to kick the hat across the gym flooring yelling "no, no!" Better luck next year.

Oh that is way too familiar. Luckily this year both the kids were great and left their hats on but Kyla's first year was a nightmare. I was pleasantly surprised when Hunter never tried to take his hat off, I think the candy kept him occupied:) Next year should be better, hopefully.

Actually Ashley, you look rather cute in the Daisy Duck hat!! Isn't it funny that we spend so much for a costume--they hate it--just want the candy and goods!

We send our love to little "headless Daisy Duck."

Who's the blonde? I didn't recogize you Ash. You look like a movie star with those bangs.

Launa is as perfect as they come (at least in my world).

She is so cute! Yeah we had about the same struggle this year with Carter and the French Fries. It didn't last very long and all he wanted was the candy. Launa looks just like you. She is adorable. The costume is really cute.

Ashley I had a costume just like that when I was 5 years old!!! My mom made it for me, and it's crazy similar to the one in your pictures!!! Alexis will be Daisy Duck next year, wearing mine from when I was little! I will have to take pictures to show you! Crazy!! Very cute!

I just had to laugh! :) It was really cute though. One day you will walk in and she will have it on. Kids are fun! We should get together. Max needs more exposure to other kids. I don't want him to be one of those kids that doesn't do well with others. We should all get together sometime.

I bet my night was worse than yours. Maybe it's the Disney costumes. Ella was Minnie Mouse and wore her costume all the time, and I was excited for Halloween. Then that night she had a break down for about 4 hours (with a nap in the middle). It ranked up there with one of my worst Halloweens--the worst being when I was a hobo and someone called me a bum. I'm scared for life.

I'm scared too--but I meant scarred.
